The name Le Marronnier was given in honor of the old chest-nut tree, built into the stone wall that encloses the estate since the XVIth century, located in the village of Beausaint, 3 km from La Roche-en-Ardenne and surrounded by forests.
Beausaint is a charming, little Ardennes village, that has managed to preserve its magnificent setting. This exceptional environment permits numerous hiking activities, sightseeing, etc., with each route offering rich and varied landscapes.
Le Marronnier provides a large living room with an open fireplace, serving as lounge area and dining room (where breakfast and brunch are served). This allows you to enjoy the warm and gentle atmosphere of the lounge area in all tranquillity, by watching television, playing board games, or reading touristic documentation.
With us, spaciousness is a reality, pleasing hikers, outdoor enthusiasts or fans of ‘farniente’.
As Le Marronnier is a 16th century residence in typical Ardenne style (stone house), all renovations and changes have been scrupulously carried out to preserve the authentic character. We give you all the time needed to enjoy the vintage atmosphere. Let yourself be seduced by our Ardenne abode!

Le Marronnier is situated in Beausaint, rue du Marronnier 2, at 3 kilomtres of the town centre of La Roche-En-Ardenne. The highway NR4 and the ‘barrière de Champlon’ are approximately 8 km away.

Our village offres a wide variety of sports and cultural activities. 250 kilomtres of marked hiking trails, as well as a section of the river Ourthe, suited for kayaking and rafting.

Where is La Roche-en-Ardenne and how to reach it ?
LLa Roche-en-Ardenne is a little town in Haute Ardenne, chief town of the Marche district, in the province of Luxembourg. Like an advanced guard, she seems to keep watch over the upper Ourthe river, that runs whimsically and wild, through the encased valley, at the foot of schist rocks, firwood shadows, prairies and terraces.
La Roche-en-Ardenne can be reached by own or public transport: Bus from stations SNCB in Marloie and Melreux.
